LANDMARK QUIZ # 2

Photo taken in the 1900s. The church, however, still stands BUT it hardly looks like this today. Destroyed several times by earthquakes, fire and finally war, it is said that this cathedral is the only one in the world to have been rebuilt 7 times.

Where is this located, and what is it popularly known as?

Manila Cathedral in Intramuros. Popularly known as the church-where-almost-everybody-wants-to-get-married-in. :P

Correct, Nina, although I have serious doubts about the next statement. The cold, somber mood of the cathedral does not appeal to everyone. :-) (well, you did say "almost everybody...", he he!)

Hi, this landmark quiz is really cool! Do you plan on doing more this year? Good idea and the photos you have are lovely.
Nice blog, thanks!

Mila, i'm not so sure. These are not my photos. They come from archived photos from a US university. Winsconsin i think.

I will try to come up with a new 'pakulo' this year.
