THE FORMER FAVORITE

Until the opening of the controverial, twice-raided 168 Mall near Meisic Street, the Tutuban Shopping Center used to be the favorite mall in Divisoria of many shoppers from all over. The place has since lost some of its novelty but continues to pack in the crowds, especially on weekends.

Long unused narrow-gauge railroad tracks along C.M. Recto emanate from the bowels of the Tutuban Shopping Center - a reminder to the new generation what this building used to be.
