PASTILLAS, BROOMS, AND GIANT SPOONS AND FORKS: ADVENTURES IN METRO MANILA AND THE PHILIPPINES
Here we will try our best to document snippets of this great city's every day life - its stories, its rumors, its unusual sights and sounds (and smell, if need be!) - things that can easily become tomorrow's urban legends though not necessarily the scary kind.
To a city that has a great past, a colorful present, and an - uhm - unforseeable future, we dedicate the things we have seen and heard in Manila. Once again, welcome and Mabuhay!
WE HEART MANILA. Manila is in the heart. Mabuhay ang Maynila!

Thanks for sharing this pic. This building has always attracted my attention in the aesthetically-challeged Recto Avenue.
Loved the Art-Deco details!
it definitely attracts anyone despite the mess all over the place. I had to muster courage to come up to it and take photos. Irresistable!
That is a lovely building. I sure hope someone doesn't get the bright idea that it should go the way of the Avenue Theater and be turned into a parking lot. Do you know who built it?
Ms Mila, unfortunately I don't. It's difficult to get details of things. I am sure Carlos Celdran knows.
Bernadette, like many old buildings in this part of Manila, this one is a - tadaaan! - warehouse. Ang saya saya talaga.
