PASTILLAS, BROOMS, AND GIANT SPOONS AND FORKS: ADVENTURES IN METRO MANILA AND THE PHILIPPINES
Here we will try our best to document snippets of this great city's every day life - its stories, its rumors, its unusual sights and sounds (and smell, if need be!) - things that can easily become tomorrow's urban legends though not necessarily the scary kind.
To a city that has a great past, a colorful present, and an - uhm - unforseeable future, we dedicate the things we have seen and heard in Manila. Once again, welcome and Mabuhay!
WE HEART MANILA. Manila is in the heart. Mabuhay ang Maynila!

Oh man! I miss Boracay! Looks like you had a great time kahit na binagyo kayo ;)
It's sad that the sewage and garbage problem is still a problem in the island :(
Nice shots of Boracay. I think that will be my next destination the next time I visit the Phils.
How much is a round-trip ticket from Manila to Boracay, if you don't mind?
Ate Agnes
Dylan,
Amazing! The longest trip report I have ever seen, all in one post! Hindi ko yata kaya iyan gawin. Kahit nga yung trip ko dito sa Prague, the visit to the castle itself, I cut it up in different entries.
I love the pictures, and the airport pics as well.
What do you think of the T3 fiasco in NAIA? Bakit kaya nag-collapse ang roof noon? Sabotage? Wala lang, a little speculation...
I noticed something in the air photos. Mukhang unusually green ang Pilipinas, even the Makati shots are unusually green, something I don't remember seeing when I fly. Laging grey ang nakikita ko.
This is a highly recommendable reading for those who haven't been to Bora like me. Bravo! Very picturesque >literally< and detailed. I felt like I travelled for three days straight when I was reading it. More travels for you, Dear!
Thank you for that visual trip to Boracay, haven't been back there in years. May not need to go now that I can just visit your blog :)
This is great! Thanks for sharing your experience in this wonderful place. I would like to visit Bora soon because the pictures look sooooo inviting!
